Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Admission Team
Rollins’ Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Admission Team works together to recruit and support prospective students from diverse backgrounds throughout the admission process—whether that’s through having candid conversations about what it’s like to be a Rollins student or connecting with families who prefer to communicate in Spanish.
You might be assigned a different admission counselor than those on the team but feel free to reach out to any one of these counselors who you feel a connection with. You’ll find that members of this team were once in your shoes, so they understand the concerns or challenges that you might face as you’re making your college decisions.

Teasa Mays
Associate Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
Teasa is highly involved around campus where she is an advisor for the Black Student Union and oversees the Diversity Envoy Program—a full-year program where students take a class that explores diversity and then serve as ambassadors for the Office of Admission through special presentations and campus tours. Teasa works closely with the Center for Inclusion and Campus Involvement—our on-campus office that oversees student programs and organizations—so while she works for the Office of Admission, she is also fully immersed in student life at Rollins.

Kristina Bracero
Assistant Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
An Orlando local, Kristina attended Wellesley College as a first-generation student. As an undergraduate, she was highly involved on campus as an admission tour guide, resident assistant, and more. Her favorite thing about Rollins is the strong community and ability to develop long-lasting relationships with classmates as well as faculty and staff.

Ed Bustos
Director of International Admission
Originally from New York, Ed lived in Bogotá, Colombia, for several years before moving back to the United States when he was 10 years old. He attended Rollins as a first-generation student for both his undergraduate degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and his master’s degree in business administration. Ed speaks fluent Spanish and loves to connect with families and students.

Brandy Fransen
Senior Associate Director of International Admission
Brandy is from Honduras and speaks Spanish fluently. She studied graphic design at Savannah College of Art and Design for her undergraduate degree and she is very passionate about the arts at Rollins. Brandy is well connected across campus and she’s a strong advocate for students.
